2017 Member Appreciation Day and Ballots

Crow Wing Power's 80th Annual meeting and Member Appreciation Day will be held Saturday, June 10 this year.  Ballots for Director Elections and Restated Bylaws were sent to members May 11.  Ballots must be received by Saturday, June 10.  vote icon

Osprey Web Cam

Have you checked out the Osprey Webcam this year?   Last year we helped CLC mount a new web cam on the nesting platform we donated about seven years. ago when the project first started.  This year the Osprey returned on April 10, the same exact date as last and the pair, "Harlowe and Hercules", are currently incubating two or three eggs.  

Co-op Calendar Photo Contest

Crow Wing Power is announcing our first calendar contest!  To enter the contest, please submit your scenic photos of Minnesota to us.  

If your photo is chosen for the calendar, you will receive a $25 electric bill credit.

Coop Connections Card

The Crow Wing Power member benefit program has given our members discounts at local participating businesses since 2001 and has since expanded nationally when Touchstone Energy adopted it for cooperatives throughout the country.  The program is now offered to Touchstone Energy Cooperatives, a nationwide alliance of more than 740 electric cooperatives, like Crow Wing Power.  

Let's Go Fishing Wins Community Award

Let's Go Fishing Board Members receive plaque and $500Brainerd Let’s Go Fishing is the 2016 Touchstone Energy Commitment to Community winner this year.   On December 28, they received a plaque and $500 as the local winner and their organization has been submitted for the State-wide Touchstone Energy annual program.

Winter Storm Argos 2016

Winter Storm Argos blew in November 18 with a furry and quickly turned from a winter storm to a blizzard. Outages began as the heavy wet snow brought trees down on power lines. By 2:30pm with blizzard conditions of 35+ mph winds, icy roads and visibility to almost nothing, we closed our offices. But, with 2,000 members out of power our line crews continued to work on restoration.
